THE COUPLE

Enzo, a venture capitalist from Park City, first met his bride Amelia, who works in tech, their freshman year of undergraduate classes at Middlebury College. After three years of friendship, they began dating in their senior year. A few years after graduation, the couple took a trip to Kennebunkport, Maine. One morning, Enzo invited Amelia to join him for a ‘polar plunge’ into the Atlantic. At the water’s edge, Enzo reached into his tote and pulled out a ring—and as Amelia said ‘Yes,’ a photographer in disguise captured the unbridled joy as the newly engaged couple dove into the freezing water.
THE WEDDING
The couple’s Park City wedding weekend embraced all things Wild West: the flavors, the landscapes and the attire. Celebrations began with a denim-on-denim welcome party at High West Saloon on Park City’s historic Main Street, to which Amelia arrived dressed to impressed in head-to-toe white fringe.

For the main event, their group convened at Blue Sky Lodge in Wanship. First up: a ceremony on the warm lawn, accented with neutral florals and dried foliage, perfectly blended into the mountain landscape. Enzo stood at attention in a classic black Hugo Boss suit, and watched as his bride-to-be floated down the aisle in a voluminous Danielle Frankel ballgown. Enzo’s brothers provided a reading and harmonica serenade during the ceremony itself, and the harmonica returned with an encore to provide ambiance alongside a guitarist during cocktail hour.
Amelia had a vision of rustic elegance for the ceremony celebration. Soft, organic florals, paper lanterns and twinkling lights across the ceiling set an elegant mood above carefully curated tables. Subtly patterned linens introduce a hint of Western flair among the glittering flatware, and sprigs of foraged ferns at every place setting invite each guest to recall the landscape just outside.
THE PARTY
After feasting on duck prosciutto and cantaloupe salad and an immersive spread of bison and trout entrees, guests hit the dance floor for a swinging evening of joy.

Amelia unveiled a special surprise, debuting for dancing in an afterparty dress crafted from her mother’s wedding gown. She and Enzo shared a first dance to a piano rendition of “Surefire” by John Legend. Then, Metro Music Club and DJ MattyMo kicked up the beats and the party kept going until well after midnight, interrupted only by cutting into the raspberry wedding cake.
