We now interrupt our Bridal Fashion Week NYC coverage for our regularly scheduled programming: Wedding Indulgence Wednesday!

Today on Wedding Indulgence Wednesday on Twitter (hashtag #WiW), Jacque Riehl of Riehl Events and Mara Marian-Harwood of LMG Events shared DIY wedding ideas. Here's a peek at our favorite ideas from this week's finds!

Jacque's Fave Find - We love The Wedding Chicks as they always bring us the freshest and best ideas in the industry, so it only stands to reason that my fave of the week for DIY would come from them. These DIY cakes are the best-can you say, "Renew the vows just so Jacque can do this idea?"

These little cakes are so personal for your guests and so easy for you! You can use them for a small intimate wedding or a cute bridal shower. Imagine your guests fascination when their own small cake is placed in front of them, or having them all lined up in straight long rows for your guests to take one, each a little different because they were made by you! Too fun and too cute! Definitely a fabulous Wedding Indulgence Wednesday fave of the week!

Mara's Fave Find - Today my favorite DIY post was the pinwheel wedding via DIY Bride, as well as the instructional how-to.

This wedding features some adorable DIY pinwheels that could be used as table numbers, escort cards, place cards or even just as decor (picture hundreds of them in different sizes and colors hung behind a dessert table, behind the bar or above the cake). To get started, I would head to a scrapbooking store (my favorite with the absolute best selection is Paper Creations in Brickyard) and spend time finding coordinating papers in both solids and patterns that match your color scheme and other decor.

The how-to for these little cuties are on Style Me Pretty.

You'll notice that in the instructions it will explain how folding tighter will show less of your patterned paper and also how to cut the paper to create different sizes. A combination of various sizes and colors will make for a fun and interesting part of any reception.

Tessa's Fave Find - I love novels, literature and dusty, old vintage-looking books, so any ideas to incorporate these elements into a wedding tug at my heart strings a little. And this DIY Vintage Book Ring Holder, via Weddingtobe, is no exception.

What a cute alternative to the traditional ring bearer pillow! And the DIY details are relatively easy, so even the uncraftiest of folks (myself included) could pull this off. I think the best part of this DIY project would be selecting the book to create the ring holder-you and your hubs could select a favorite novel or a book of love poems. And after the wedding, you can store the book ring holder on a bookshelf or coffee table as a reminder of your wedding day. So sweet!
