Fashionable Friday: Bonus Photos from our Fashion Feature

We’re going to leave you for the weekend with these breathtaking images from our 2012 fashion shoot from the ever-talented Heather Nan Photography. I also have to tout Versa Artistry and our stunning model, Erika Grisby, for having the enormous talent to transform the look for every shot.

Many of the photos below are bonus photos not in the issue, so if you haven’t picked up a copy of our new 2012 issue, be sure to pick one up.

This feature is 12 pages—yep, you heard correctly, 12— of rich and fantastical fashion featuring local gowns, local vendors and shot on location at the glamorous Grand America Hotel, hence the “Grand Glamour” headline.

My favorite shot features this one-shoulder Judd Waddell from the White Couture Collection at Gateway Bridal. And by golly, if you could just smell those garden roses and sweet jasmine off the pages of the magazine, you would be taken to a heavenly garden.

For a modest dress, this Sonora dress radiates femininity and sophistication. From the Latter Day Bride Collection at Gateway Bridal.

How about her eye makeup?

This was Heather Nan’s favorite dress. And who wouldn’t love those pockets? Designed by the Vineyard Collection from Avenia Bridal, Orem. (As a side note, we wrapped Katie Waltman‘s necklace with the necklace I just happened to be wearing that day to create our own one-of-a-kind piece.)

By the pool, we feature a tea-length Kelly Chase Couture gown from Avenia Bridal, Orem. It’s the preppiest little number with dotted Swiss tulle.

This became our opener and not just because Bacon the Great Dane was in this shot (isn’t he fabulous?). This Anne Barge beauty from Alta Moda, SLC, takes the cake.

Our candy shop shot didn’t make it to the issue, but I wanted to show it off here. The ruffles and whimsy of this dress from The Brides’ Shop were perfect for La Bonne Vie. And check out the belt we used as a headband.
