When Jenn and Josh each signed up to volunteer at The Canyons Resort during the 2002 Winter Olympics and Sundance Film Festival, they were both in it for the free ski passes. Little did they know their mountain adventure would lead them to love. After seven years of dating, the couple returned to their meeting place to become husband and wife. Set in the mountains of Park City, the wedding revolved around the great outdoors with the focus on fun. Following the ceremony, guests dined, danced and toasted to the happy couple until dawn.
Before the Wedding
Occupations: Jenn is a medical sales rep and Josh is a screenwriter and film director in Los Angeles.
How the couple met: As Mountain Hosts at The Canyons Resort in 2002. “We both volunteered one day a week at The Canyons,” says Jenn. “We were great friends all season long, and when the snow melted, we realized we were in love.”
How he proposed: “Josh planned a very elaborate proposal,’’ says Jenn. ‘’We were supposed to meet his uncle for dinner at the Bel Air Hotel in L.A.. Josh took me on a beautiful walk around the hotel grounds and finally stopped by a fountain and dropped to one knee. I was still looking around for his uncle—but the proposal was better than seeing him. After Josh proposed, he kept trying to drag me into the bar area for a drink. I didn’t want to go because I was busy showing every stranger who walked by my ring. When we finally went into the bar, there were 20 of our best friends waiting to celebrate with us. We later had dinner at the hotel, just the two of us, and got some great advice about marriage from our waiter. The whole evening was magical.”
Bridal shower and Bachelorette party: Jenn and her girlfriends traveled to Lake Tahoe to a friend’s cabin where they’ve vacationed since high school.
Bachelor party: The boys went to a cabin in Big Bear to ski and hang out. “The guys made me ski all day in a Carmen Miranda costume,” says Josh.

The bride wore: An Alfred Angelo ivory gown with a corset tie back
The groom wore: A chocolate brown tux
