When Heidi and Tim Uhl of Retrospect Studios sent me these engagement and wedding photos, I fell in love with them. Amazing shots and amazing scenery. Then I got to know the couple and I loved them even more.
Kassie and Dustin first met through mutual friends. Dustin proposed in Little Cottonwood Canyon at the first place they said "I love you." Sweet, huh?

The couple married May 23, 2008, at the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Kassie wore a gorgeous Atelier Aimee gown from Alta MODA Bridal. (The floral accents on the bustled train and birdcage veil are so sweet and chic!)
Following the ceremony, the couple had a luncheon at the Beehive House, and later a reception at a private residence in Roosevelt. The theme was "victorian" and the decor included shades of brown, green and cream. Guest enjoyed an Italian Soda bar (such a cool idea!), panini sandwiches, fruit, salads and mini tarts prepared by Marvellous Catering.
After the festivities, Kassie & Dustin departed for their honeymoon in Kauai, Hawaii. Highlights of the trip inlcluded a kayaking trip to a 120 foot waterfall and watching the sunset every night.

Kassie's most memorable wedding moment: "The time just before Dustin and I were married. We were able to just sit and talk for a moment without anyone else in such a beautiful place. It was a realization of being at the right time, in the right place, with the right person."
Dustin's most memorable wedding moment: "After the wedding luncheon we had a surprise limo, a stretch Hummer, waiting for us outside of the Beehive House to take us to our next destination for the evening. It was a relaxing drive where Kassie and I could just sit back and enjoy the moment. We also had a great driver who granted our request to take us up some narrow and windy roads through the canyon."
Kassie & Dustin's wedding advice: "Just try to releax and enjoy it all as much as possible. It's such a fun time and there is no need to waste it on petty little things that might go wrong."
