Wet Weather Weddings, Part III

Nov 19, 2009 - 08:39 AM

I think there is something so romantic about getting married on a rainy day or during a snow storm—if you look at part I and part II of the Wet Weather Weddings series you'll understand why. And this next wedding is no exception. Blustery wind and pouring rain didn't stop Olivia and Keith from celebrating their big day.

Olivia and Keith were married at Millcreek Inn on August 31, 2008—you'd think the weather that time of year would have been all blue skies and sunshine, but Olivia and Keith weren't quite so lucky.

"The wind became blustery during the ceremony," recalls the couple's lovely wedding photographer Erin of Erin Kate Photography. "Within five minutes of the ceremony finishing the rain started coming down. We finished up portraits with a few umbrellas, and Olivia and Keith celebrated under a tent the rest of the night while the rain continued to fall!"

Olivia wore a beautiful lace Jim Hjelms gown. Her pretty rose bouquet and other floral arrangments were designed by StellaPosy.

Many thanks to Erin Kate Photography!
