Boutique Spotlight: Avenía Bridal

Yesterday I headed down to Utah County to meet with some wedding vendors, including Avenía Bridal. I first learned of Avenía while researching bridal botutiques for a fashion feature in the Winter 2009 issue of Utah Bride & Groom, and got to know Lisa Powelson, the store's managing director, and Nancy Barrus, the store's artistic director. In case you aren't familiar with Avenía, here's the scoop on this stylish Provo bridal boutique.

Avenía Bridal offers a little bit of everything for brides-to-be: custom-made gowns by Nancy Barrus Couture and designer gowns by Badgley Mischka, Rivini, Vineyard, Liancarlo, Tara Keely and Junko Yoshioka. The sweet boutique features pink-painted walls, racks of gowns, tables and shelves full of sparkly accessories and pretty white shoes, and a big white couch where your mom and girlfriends can relax while you search for "the dress."
