All About Alice {Trends & Inspirations}

Anyone who really knows me knows that I am absolutely obsessed with Alice In Wonderland. All-things Alice, really. I have a huge armoire filled to the brim with Alice collectibles, from old books (some dating back to the early 1800s), porcelain Alice dolls, tea sets and tea cups, clocks, watches, note cards, figurines, jewelry, ornaments, even a wallet and a purse...pretty much everything and anything a person completely obsessed with Alice would own. So, I was thrilled when I heard Tim Burton would be making a movie about one of my all-time favorite tales. And it seems I'm not the only one who is excited—fashion designers, event planners, caterers, wedding vendors, you name it, are all getting in on the Alice action, too. I love the idea of an Alice-themed wedding, or at least, of incorporating some fun Alice-inspired details into your big day...

Take, for example, these Alice-inspired gowns designed by Sue Wong for Walt Disney Signature. Wong designed the collection using antique lace and colors inspired by the movie's characters: Alice, the Red Queen, the White Queen, the White Rabbit and the talking flower garden. Wouldn't these make fun bridesmaid dresses, or for real Alice-lovers, wedding gowns? Love, love, love!

Amy Atlas, the queen of wedding dessert buffets and candy tables, got in on the Alice action by designing this Alice In Wonderland party. One word: A-MA-ZING. How cool would this set up be for a bridal shower, casual rehearsal dinner or whimsical wedding reception?

And, of course, where else but Etsy could you find a treasure trove of fantastic Alice ideas for your wedding. Check out some of the goodies from their Etsy Finds: Down the Rabbit Hole round-up...
