Check out Cami & Tanner’s fun engagement photos by Alisha Ekstrom of Oakstream Photography. I love all the bright colors in the couple’s clothes, the backdrops and the props (especially the parasol!). The images are so cheerful and playful. Scroll down for more photos and to read the couple’s proposal story

The Couple: Camilla Dye & Tanner Wells
The Proposal: “We got engaged on Valentine's Day,” says Cami. “Tanner was planning on making me dinner that night with his roommates and their dates. (Since we were doing a group date for Valentine’s Day I wasn't expecting anything!) That night I got home from work, got ready and went over to Tanner’s. He had cooked a yummy meal! His roommates said their dates were running late, so we all just had dinner together. Throughout the meal, the roommates talked about their dates and what we were going to do after dinner. After we ate, they all left to go pick up their dates—or so they said."
"Tanner and I cleaned up, then headed to Tanner's friend’s house in Alpine. His roommates called us on the way and said they would meet us there. (I believed all of this.) We got to the friend’s house and it was cold and a little snowy. We went upstairs and the fire was going—it was very romantic! Tanner told me he wanted to give me a present before everyone else got there. He had made a video/slideshow of pictures of us from our time together dating. It was really cute!"
"When the pictures were done the screen flashed “Cami & Tanner June 20, 2009 Together Forever.” Still, it didn’t dawn on me what was happening until Tanner got down on one knee. He popped the question and I said, 'Yes, of course!' Then his roommates came out of the closet where they had been hiding the whole time videotaping the proposal and taking pictures of us. They all got me so good—the roommates didn’t even have dates; they gave up their Valentine’s Day to help Tanner. It was super cute and such a perfect night.”
The Wedding: Cami is from Las Vegas, so the couple is getting married in the Las Vegas LDS Temple on June 20, 2009. They will have a reception that night at the bride’s parent’s house. The following Saturday, on June 27, they will have an open house in Orange County, Calif., where Tanner is from.
Congratulations, Cami & Tanner!
