Fancy Feet: Stylish Wedding Shoes

Remember that old fashion rule that your shoes should match your handbag, your accessories, even your entire outfit? The idea of a completely coordinated, matchy-matchy ensemble flew the fashion coop years ago—today, it’s perfectly acceptable to wear shoes in a shade, fabric and style that stand out from the rest of your outfit. And the same goes for your wedding shoes.

Forget basic white pumps (and flip-flops, please), and select a pair of shoes that make a statement, like the chic styles pictured by Jimmy Choo, Chanel, Ferragamo and others. Think gold-toned stilettos, cream-colored patent leather flats or blush-hued suede pumps.

If you’re feeling really fashion-forward, add a little color to your bridal attire with footwear in a shade that coordinates with your wedding colors, like pink, purple or green. Shoes with beading, embroidery and touches of sparkle will only up the glam-factor.

Makes you want to go shopping for shoes. The shoes really look great with the locations used for the photos.
