Growing up, I was a ballet dancer. Well, sort of. I loved everything about ballet—the fluffy tutus, the satin pink pointe shoes, the classical music—but I was horrible at it. I took classes with two of my cousins, and we always spent more time gossiping than we actually did dancing. Anyway, when I saw this ballet-inspired bridal session by Ritrato Photography featuring bride-to-be Jessica T. (not to be confused with the other lovely Jessica we featured last week) posing in her pointe shoes in downtown Salt Lake City, I knew I had to share the images. (Plus, I adore her one-shoulder gown and yellow rose bouquet.)

Jessica paired her pretty pink pointe shoes with a gorgeous one-shoulder Augusta Jones gown from Alta MODA Bridal, and a classic yellow rose bouquet created by Emberlily Design. Anna Mower was her hair and makeup artist. Jessica married her groom Douglas on December 5 at The Tower at the University of Utah Rice Eccles Stadium.
