So, today's laaaaate post is due to a loooong night of celebrating our sister publication Salt Lake magazine's 12th annual Dining Awards. It was such a fun night, filled with awesome winners, a few surprises and the occasional bizarre moment (shouts of "Whiskey!" from the audience anyone?). I co-hosted the event with Salt Lake mag Editor Jeremy Pugh, and we had a great time. Anyway, I thought I would share this year's list of big winners with you. Why? Well, a) because we all have to eat, b) because who doesn't like good local food, and c) because many of the winning restaurants would be great locations for engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons or even intimate wedding receptions.
