As promised, check out these lovely wedding photos from Utah bride Heather (Clarkson) Irving. Heather emailed me a few weeks ago about her wedding, and when I read about the sweet details and saw her photos I knew I had to share them with all of you. Enjoy reading about and getting a glimpse of Heather's big day!

"I absolutely love weddings! Planning my own was a lot of fun. Most people say I had been planning my wedding since I was in the womb! I worked at Roots for a little over a year, so I had a lot of experience already with vendors, which helped out a lot when it came to staying on budget.
"We had a seated wedding dinner at the Salt Lake Country Club, following our LDS Temple ceremony, complete with toasts and a tribute video. After, Macki from the Country Club created an exqusite dessert buffet for the guests to enjoy. As soon as the dinner was over we mingled with guests and dancing started right away!
"My dad is a graphic designer and helped out a lot with the creative details. (He even matched the font color on my invitations exactly to my bridesmaid dresses!) One special touch were the letterpress cards that had 'wishes for the bride and groom' printed on them. These took the place of a guest book. Rachael with Roots created a beautiful arrangement of flowering Quince for the cards to be hung on.
"My favorite flowers are peonies, and Rachael was so sweet and worked hard to order a lot for the wedding! She surprised me by adding Lilly of the Valley into my bouquet. It was my maternal grandmother's favorite flower—she passed away almost exactly a year before the day of our wedding. This was a beautiful tribute to her!
"Overall everything was perfect and I feel like I owe it all to the great vendors I worked with!"
